Captain's Log 08/01/2020

The only race this week was the Essex Cross Country Championships. Held at Basildon, it is a mainly flat 10k, but in the middle of the two lap course there are two testing climbs and when you think that is it, there are some short sharp slopes to contend with. Add to that the heavy conditions underfoot, it was a hard slog, which everyone did well to complete.
